Hello and welcome to Vibe by Emerald!
We are a studio based in Clinton, MA that provides a variety of programs including recreational dance, competition dance, adult sessions, and fitness drop-ins. We just recently finished Phase 2 of our lease renovation in February 2024, which offers (4) total studio spaces!
Whether you're a young dancer wanting to try ballet for the first time, or an experienced dancer looking for a challenge, we'll help you find ways to channel energy, reduce stress, foster creativity, and simply have fun! We offer several styles of youth dance programs to fit kids’ varying passions and interests. Blend multiple class styles, or choose the one kind that best feeds your youngster’s soul.

History.
The business was founded back in 2016 as Nashoba Valley Movement, and has since built an extensive client base of 180+ dance families. Over the years, NVM was trusted to not only to teach its students the best dance skills, but to also build confidence and friendships along the way. NVM also made it a goal to coordinate multiple social events throughout the year to help build bonds among each other and the community. Flash forward a number of years, and a variety of personal and business factors had triggered a new sequence of events that would shape the bright future of NVM!
After six years in business, a new landlord stepped in at the previous NVM location at 500 Main. While the team was reluctant to have to leave the space they had called home for several years, this was also a blessing in disguise. The program was simply growing faster than the previous 2000sf could accommodate - and we began the search for a larger studio!
It was during this lease search that a number of personal factors also influenced the ownership of the business. In 2023, an ownership transition was offered to a group of trusted local individuals who expressed interest in stepping up to support the dance studio moving forward. It was a collaborative effort that ultimately pushed to keep the studio alive and found a home for the NVM family to continue doing what they love! The best part is that our new Artistic Director of Dance will be someone the family all knows and loves- Miss Hayley! (pictured, left)

2023 was a very exciting year of transition for the business, resulting in a new ownership team and larger lease space. Along with the these changes, the team rebranded to Vibe by Emerald!
To our team, dance is not just an activity. The passion, the relationships, and the people, are what make it so much more. As co-owner and dance mom Ryan would say, “it’s a lifestyle, and it’s a whole vibe.” Our dancers love what they do, and our primary goal is to support them to their fullest potential. And the vibe is everywhere! It’s in the entire studio atmosphere when the kiddos are dancing, it’s in the adults when they’re trying out a new ballet program, and it must be in the air too because everyone has shown us such a tremendous amount of support along the way! Nobody can resist the urge to move when they’re in a big room with some good tunes! It’s an unmatched positive energy.

The Emerald part of our name builds on this energy. This branding process specifically, started long before Vibe. New co-owners, Megan and Zach have already been working toward building an “Emerald identity” across their other businesses for a few years now (Emerald House Studio, Emerald Composure). They are driven by the idea of building, and being a part of, a community of kind people who are filled with a passion for what they do. The goal is that this infectious and positive energy will translate across all of the current and future Emerald relationships. It was clear to them from the beginning of their involvement with NVM, that the pre-existing dance family was one filled with that energy they were looking for, and was also a place worth putting our their energy into as well. This expansion of the “Emerald brand” into the dance + fitness world is a symbol of passion, and they could not be more thrilled to be a part of it.
